Luany Conway - Founder & Lead Interior Designer
Meet Luany, a visionary designer whose journey globally has enriched her design perspective. Luany was born in Brazil and immigrated with her family to America in her teen-age years where she learned to speak English. As an immigrant with a diverse background, watching her family dedicate themselves to build a new life instilled the importance of perseverance. Luany has also lived on the East Coast and West Coast of the United States before finding her current haven in West Texas. She draws inspiration from her experiences from living globally and has a passion for creating spaces that tell unique and personalized stories.
Luany describes her own style as minimalist with a lot of personality. She loves to create unique designs that resemble the client she is working with, not just something that you see on a Pinterest board. The name Meraki was chosen as it is the essence of what Luany believes about design, “to do something with soul, creativity, and love; to put something of yourself into your work. To love what you do, is to do it well.” Which describes exactly what we are after at Meraki Designs.

Jaimie Conway - Assistant Interior Designer
With nearly 15 years of experience in the fashion and beauty industry across the country, Jaimie has honed her eye for detail, color coordination, and spatial awareness. Her background in fashion has instilled an in-depth understanding of trends, textures, and aesthetics, which seamlessly translates into interior design projects.
In addition to her extensive experience in fashion and beauty, Jaimie's passion for interior transformations extends to her personal life. In 2020, she purchased her first home and embarked on a complete renovation journey. This hands-on experience further solidified her understanding of construction, materials, and project management. Jaimie's dedication to revamping her own space showcases her commitment to excellence and her ability to turn any vision into reality. In her free time, Jaimie enjoys socializing, gardening, trying new experiences and traveling. Her adventurous spirit and diverse interests complement her creativity as an interior design assistant.
